Catholic leaders, when will you ever grasp
The plague that holds your Church in its firm clasp?

Fierce opposition, such as the Poem knows,
Can be from the Devil. Its readership just grows.

Authority comes from above, not from below.
Cut off above, beneath it cannot flow.

Catholic priests, cut to each other slack.
Catholics, pray they have one another’s back.
