The sacrificial Mass once thrown away,
How could poor Catholics not go astray?

As he who will not see” – he shuts his mind.

Let us be hard in mind, in manners gentle.
Softness of mind makes silly, sentimental.

Did the Society think it would save all?
That was the pride which goes before a fall.

Truth which is true excludes all contradiction.
“Truth” which admits of error, is truth-fiction.

If Academia lacks all rhyme and reason
That is because churchmen committed treason.
